Mr. Shallert comes to SCCA with over 30 years of teaching philosophy and religion at the university level, primarily at Southern Illinois University -Edwardsville (SIUE). At SCCA, Mr. Shallert continues his passion for teaching religion, as well as literacy for grades 7 and 8.
Mr. Shallert is impressed with South City Catholic Academy’s close-knit community and is looking forward to getting to know the students and families as the school year progresses.
