Fifth Grade Teacher and 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher
After graduating from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with an English and Art History degree, I went on to get a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Simmons University in Boston. I am State Certified and have a Reading Teacher Endorsement. My teaching experience began in the Boston suburbs and then moved to NYC where I taught at The Hewitt School and in the independent NYC school system for ten years.
I am so happy to be at SCCA as we are truly a school family who supports each other’s strengths, communicates effectively and collaborates seamlessly to achieve common goals. I especially enjoy teaching fifth graders and watching them learn, grow and develop a sense of independence as they move into the middle school environment.
